Interesting find!
I've been looking in /www/English/ with a telnet client to see if there any other .asp files that are not referenced, but I have n't find any other ones yet.
However, I think that the page you found is a left-over of the "port" from the 500 series.
Hi
Just bought a wl700. I also own a wl500g dlx and I wanted to put both to work since one is not enough to "fill" my house. The 700 has no wds option to configure. Still, is there a way to use the 700 as a gateway to wlan and the 500 to extend the wireless range? If so, how should I configure both?
Also, it's clear to me that asus doesn't know what the PWR button on the 700 is for (why should they?). Does anyone around here knows?
Someone said in another thread it could be used to power off the disk, but in my case the radio goes down too. Though it doesn't happen everytime. Sometimes the PWR button seems to be a trigger for disk noise. You press it, the disk makes some noise and then everything goes back to normal (disk keeps working). Other times the all thing powers down.
Thanks
The original firmware does not support wds fonctionalities !
I want to use wl700g to connect in wireless mode to wl500g and I would be interrested If someone knows howto ?
thanks.

Feedback from ASUS reguarding WDS
I send a feedback form asking about WDS and this was the reply:
Well i have checked that WL-700gE doesn't support WDS. That is the reason why you can't find the option to enable it in the router's configuration page. So at the same time Can you do me a favor to help me get the information where you saw the advertisement which says it supports this function as you mentioned it was advertised? We don't expect to see it let more people misunderstood. And we will take action toward that problem. Thanks for your kind help!
And if you wanna set it as a bridge, maybe you can try wired connection. Sorry for the inconvenience.
