Well Ive just bought it but im not even 70 % satisfied with this thing.
The main reason we all buy this is HDD/torrent support.
Ive been goovin around the firmware mods and im still to chicken/noobish to flash it to the modified firmware.
Can you please convince me by answering my questions please :
1. In ctorrent are you able to run 10 torrents at once ?
3. If the device gets rebooted for some reason will it go on with the torrents that were scheduled before ?
4. Can you remotely /from WAN side/ add new jobs to torrent list ?
PS. Somehow the screenshot of the cgi thing doesnt work for me (the url) could you please repost it so i can see how the "interface" looks like ?
About the standard stuff u get from asus... Ive formated to ext2 and if i add a torrent its waiting queued for a moment then it goes but it locks up back to queued every couple of minutes then starts again. And to be honest thats the most f.... annoying thing about this router.
Ive tried the other firmware posted on asus pages i think 1972 was the version where they claim "improved DM functions" somehow I failed to notice them.
I just need a working router + a simple efficent way of adding/managing the torrents. If you can help/explain/link to how to make it happen It would be really great.
Thanks in advance.

I messed up a little with formating the drives. Because Im a linux noob I didnt know that when it says "writing inode tables: Terminated" It didnt format it.
Anyways Ive tried to delete the post script file with all the stuff Ive added there still I get those crashes when i start formatting the ext partition.
Can you please hint me on whats the problem ?
Im using the 1.9.2.7-7f firmware but I didnt do this part :
nvram set sdram_init=0x0009
nvram set sdram_ncdl=0
nvram commit
reboot
BTW will the router work properly when all the stuff is done and I unplugg the HDD ?
Ok nevermind i managed to find what was the problem.
I had to set swap manually to make it appear in "free"
Atm Im formating the big partition.
Why didnt the boot-post thing setup swap by itself when router booted up ?
The line is there for sure...
