What is the kernel version of latest Oleg firmware? I am interested in adding support for zd1211 USB device and it is only supported in 2.6 kernel.
I think Olegs kernel version is still 2.4.20, same as the Asus firmware. If you want to have a 2.6 kernel, you have to use OpenWrt kamikaze. But beware: the proprietary broadcom wifi drivers are for a 2.4 kernel only, you have to use bcm43xx drivers on a 2.6 kernel, which are not stable, at least on my WL-500gx they produced kernel errors.
