I am currently deploying an ASUS WL550gE for VoIP/WLAN-phones. The AP is connected to the office network and set to operation mode "Access Point". Both cable and air are one subnet (192.168.1.0/24).

A software, which is installed on many of the stationary workstations sends broadcasts to the network in short intervals (one every second) which also seems to decrease the phones' standby times.

In order to avoid this unnecessary traffic on the WLAN, I want to filter specific broadcasts, for example:

192.168.1.xyz (ethernet) UDP -> 255.255.255.255:7685

This traffic has no meaning for any of the WLAN clients, so it should never hit the air. What configuration files could be modified, or which telnet command could be issued to filter those broadcasts out?

Thanks in advance,
any help is appreciated
