Hi,
is there some maximum of capacity connected hdd ?
Please excuse my english.
Thx.:D
No, just as long as it is one HDD i suppose
multiple hdds shouldn't be a problem I guess.
There is no real limit except that for fomating more than 200GB disk you need 512MB swap enabled.
ofcourse you have a limit...
Max file size: 16GiB 2TiB
Max number of files: Variable
Max filename size: 255 bytes
Max volume size: 2TiB 32TiB
Allowed characters in filenames: All bytes except NUL and '/'
check it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ext3 ;)
Hi,
I have installed two HDD 1000Go in RAID1 with not problem and work fine with the last Oleg's firmware.
the Hdd are Samsung Sata 1To 7200 32Mo.
i searched a long time the nas usb2 with fan and Raid1.
I find finaly the MaxInPower BEMIP35A7R, very lowcost nas ~60 empty.
you choose the raid1/0 with a switch like this pictures (http://www.pcafrance.com/multimedia/102.jpg)
The raid1 is hardware (i find a SiliconImage chip on the PCB)
