Hello.
I intend to use my Asus router as a home gateway, but i can't; seems to be a problem with the WAN interface.
I set the following settings:
- operation mode: "Home gateway"
- WAN interface (static configuration received from the ISP)
IP: A.B.C.D
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: A.B.C.1
- LAN interface
IP: 192.168.1.4
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
- DHCP according to the above config.
When i connect to the router with a computer from LAN, it receives the correct config:
IP: 192.168.1.200
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.4
but it doesn't work.
I can ping the 192.168.1.4 & A.B.C.D IPs, but i cannot reach A.B.C.1 and therefore the internet doesn't work.
What can i do anything else? I tried static routing but that didn't help either... maybe i did it wrong, does anybody has an example for this?
Thanks a lot!
