I noticed that when Downlaod master is active I cannot reach the share from Windows Explorer.

Sorry, no help from me, but I have exactly the same problem.
I Got the 500GP yesterday and connected shared printer, this was the same as with 500g. Wireless and DDNS exactly the same as 500G.
I have the latest Firmware and Utility.
In status, I can see the disk and the size (maxtor drive, 250Gb formated)
Cant get DM or FTP to work :mad:
Anyone out there ?

For FTP: did you enable 'FTP' in the router setup?
DM remains a strange one. Sometimes I connect without problem, but when i close the app and try to start it again it won't work at all. Reboot and 8/10 it works again.
