How does one share a USB Disk?
I can stream media from it to my showcenter (media server enabled), but I can't access it from windows (I'm using USBA). In share management I can not create shares in the foreign disk, the only option is to create it in "My volume". So, I see the disk connected and stream media from it, but I can't open it in windows neither it appears when I ftp the router.
Many thanks

Can anyone answer this question? It's been a long time.....
Your question is a little confusing. The router only shares "native" shares, not foreign ones. You'll have to format the USB drive with the router (and lose all of the data on it) for it to be shareable.

Hi
I formatted my disk in FAT format (quote genral usable format unquote) on my PC and are able to 'share' the disk under PBSA mode. (at least if you mean that sharing is writing and reading by potential all computers connected to the wireless network)
Works ok :D
Or did I misunderstand the question ?

Interesting. Didn't know it would do that.
If you unplug it from the router, is it still readable under windoze (i.e. over USB not wireless)?
