The WL-120g R2.20 is driving me nuts.

Very often the card will loose connection (even though other pc's and notebooks in the house are still connected).

When this happens:

I cannot repair the connection,
I cannot sleep/wake the notebook and
I cannot shutdown the notebook.

It is as if the card has 'crashed'.

When this happens, if I check: My Computer > Properties > Hardware tab > Device manager > Asus 802.11g card it says "there are no drivers installed for this device". (it only says that when card looses connection and 'crashes').

In such cases the notebook can only be shut down manually by pressing the on/off button for a few seconds. (If i try to shut it down normally, i get to the screen which says "Windows is shutting down" and it stays like this forever).

I have the latest drivers from the Asus website. (I have tested both the built in windows wifi software and the Asus software, no solution).

Has anyone else been having such problems?
Any solutions?

I would appreciate any info or advice.
