Just a note on some pitfalls with the DDNS support:

- don't use a DDNS password with a & in it: this gets turned into an escape
sequence by your browser (i.e. it works OK if you don't use the web forms
to set the password).

- don't use a DDNS password with a $ or " in it: the password is extracted
from the nvram and put into a file interpreted by sh where it looks like:

x_DDNSPassword="foobar"

so if there's a $ or a " you might not get what you wanted.
OTOH, if you want to run arbitrary commands on your WL-500g without
installing a custom firmware, such holes could be convenient.
