Download so slow, why oh why!!! HELP!!!

Hey guys,

I have been looking at the forum and finally manage to set up the wireless router to work with Download Master.

But why is the download so slow!? The connection keeps stopping and starting. A lot of the time, it is on "Queued". I am talking about bittorrent files. The files I am downloading have more than 300 seeds so I don't think that is the problem. The same files would download so fast in Azureus.

For example, I have a 2 meg cable connection. Over night, I only got about 500 Megs of data on all the files put together.

i also have a problem with downloading torrents to my notebook. i have a 2mbit connection and it downloads with maximum 10kb. most of the time i have 0mb.

what should i do?

after reading through a mass of q&a i opened the ports 6881-6999 on my router. that helped a little. but still just a overall download bandwith of 20-40 ...

any other idea?

I am using Azureus for torrent downloading.

On a site I read that Azureus need another port open ( beside 6881-6889 ) to work well. I opened the port 52525 for UDP and TCP.

Please check the attachment for the settings. 192.168.13.2 is the IP of my notebook.

But thats to download with your notebook i want to download fast with the router not using my notebook.
