My WL-700gE is in AP-Mode. I have to reboot the device regularly within a couple of days in order to get the http-screen (the webinterface for configuration). Can someone confirm this?

Try downloading the firmware again from asus and upgrade, that fix the problem for me.

Hm, I already had this problem before with FW 1.0.4.2. Are you sure that it's fixed by upgrading a second time? (strange workaround anyway, I'd say either it's working or it's not working. What's the difference between the first and the second flash?) For how long in a row does http-access now work with your WL-700gE?

It seems Asus released version 1.0.4.6 twice, without changing the version number. So I think he means that in the updated 1.0.4.6 version it might be solved...

After I downloaded the new version 1.0.4.6n I never had that problem again, It works 24/7.(you will only notice the n version when you click to download and save)
The only problem I still have with this router is the software for downloading BT files, they need to improve the DownloadMaster because it's useless:mad:

After you download the n version if you still have this problem I suggest waiting for a newer firmware which should be release this month hopefully.
At first when I purchase the wl700ge I had a long list of problems and the worst one was after 15 min my download speed would go down to 5kb/s and upload 2kb/s and this bug was fix with the release of firmware 1.0.4.6 and what I've found out was that only 3 other people had this problem and what we all had in common was the 590SLI amd motherboard Deluxe from asus.(bug's will very from mobo to mobo because the wl700ge wasn't tested on all of them and their software)
If you haven't done so already report this problem to Asus and pray that they will fix it;)

downloaded the 1.0.4.6n firmware, flashed it - tried to access the webinterface about 5 hours later - doesn't work. I really begin to hate this beta-device :mad:
