no access to router

Hi everybody,

Im the proud owner of a WL-500G Premium. however, when I tried to downgrade it from ver. 1.9.7 to 1.9.69 due to some wireless issues, It stopped responding and the power leds just blink with and (approx) 2 secunds interval.
Its not responding to pings, the "device discovery" does not find the router either :(

I've tried to hold the "restore button" for 5 sec during startup, still no luck :(

Can anybody help me please!

Ps. the led light up when I put the ethernet cable in the port.

use the asus firmware restoration tool!

-connect your pc to your router via ethernet.
-run the software.
-power on the router.
-The software will detect the router in few sec and update the firmware with the file you provided.
(don't forget to configure your ip to 192.168.1.xx and the gateway to 192.168.1.1)
