Can't surf the web when WL-HDD is connected.

Whenever I connect my WL-HDD using a ethernet cable it knocks out my ability to surf the net. I'm using a wireless USB adapter to connect to my Linksys router.

Is there a way to configure things to work when everythings connected? Thanks.
