WL-HDD and Vista

Hi,

Has anyone tried to remotely use Vista (RC1) with the WL-HDD?

The performance when viewing and accessing the HD is terrible, while the web admin and ping work just fine. It looks like Vista has performance issues with the file system used by the internal formatting tool (not sure if this is EXT3). I'm being this specific, because I didn't have this performance issue when the HD was still using a Vista-NTFS format, and I also don't have performance issues now if I connect from a Windows XP machine.

Note that, when I say that performance is terrible, I mean *much worse* than the standard I/O of the WL-HDD - which was already a huge disappointment for me, but still usable for backup purposes ;-(

Resending, in case someone has already tried to use the WL-HDD with a beta/RC version of Vista?
It's already slow with XP, but with Vista it's not usable.

You're right about the hard drive performance: pretty slow on XP.
But I don't see why you worry about the performance with Vista. Are you actually seriously considering using Vista? Come'on!
