format to ext2

Hey.

I just got myself the wl500gP, im using the original firmware on it.
I also bought a WD 500GB external hdd not long ago, and was looking forward to use it with the router. But its formated with ntfs. i dont want to use FAT32 as i will download files that are larger than 2GB. So my question is, can i format it to ext2 in windows? or with any thirdparty program in windows?

Try using "Partition Magic".

Ok, now i've formated to ext2. But i cant add folders in the folder manager(i add and the screen update, but no new folder :<). And i cant find the hd with Download Master. Any ideas on what may be wrong?
