After Firmware Update I can't connect!!

Hi @all.
I have downloaded the latest firmware from Asus.com here
http://www.asus.it/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=WL-500g&Type=Latest under Bios.

There was standing:
Firmware release note for WL-500g, version 1.7.5.6

So I downloaded this file, unzipped it and so on.
Then wanted to upload the *.trx-File with the firmware updater in the administration under Firmware Upgrade.

All seemed well but after the message that I have to wait 80sec until the progress was completed an error appeared.

The IE said: Site not found.

And from then on I have not been abled to reconnect to the router with the IP 192.168.1.1

What's up? And now there is no signal from the wireless-antenna!

Has the firmwareupdate damaged my router? :( :(

Have you tried to reset the router with the restore switch on the back of your router?

If that doesn't work try the Firmware restauration method to restore your old firmware..
