Can't print using LPRServer

I have connected my Hewlett-Packard hp LaserJet 1005 series to the WL-500gP and it is detected when I go to the admin interface at http://192.168.1.1/ the status is "online".

I also followed the instructions to install the printer under my Windows XP system, but still, I can't print anything. All attempts fails. When I let windows detect the problem it said it could not ping the print server and suggested a network problem.

Any ideas?

to configure the printer correctly is tricky, please follow exactly the steps in the Asus manual.
The Problem I have is that the printer couldn't communicate back to Windows, means the Information about level of ink is not working.

Thanks for the reply, I followed the instructions in detail. How did you solve the problem with reports back to windows?
