Problem with DSL PPPOE connection

Hi, i need a little help...

i have a ZyXEL Prestige P-660R-67C DSL modem/router and ASUS WL-500g Deluxe wifi router.
what i need to know is how to setup my dsl PPPOE account in ASUS.
i was try many combination of settings but asus still dont wants connect to my ISP.
Self running DSL modem (in router mode, directly connected to PC lan port) works without any problem.

Any ideas will be helpful. thanx

ZyXEL IP: 192.168.0.1 (in bridge mode, DHCP off)
ASUS IP: 192.168.1.1 (PPPOE, DHCP on)

My working solution:
ZyXEL IP: 10.0.0.1 (in bridge mode, DHCP on)
ASUS IP: 192.168.1.1 (PPPOE, DHCP on)

Same problem with the WL-500g Premium here. EZ Setup and Quick Setup don't seem to work correctly.
WL-500gP is 192.168.1.1
ADSL Modem/router is 192.168.1.3
PC is in the same net (with same subnet #)

1) I can't reach ADSL modem's control panel.
2) Auto configuration gets gateway IP as 192.168.1.1. It also gets DNS IP as it was the WL-500gP

I managed to solve by setting the ADSL modem/router DMZ for WL-500gP. But there must be another way, an easier one which we missed, because nobody complains about it. :D Searching topics which may be relevant, wish me luck, and I will share if I find the trick we both missed. :rolleyes:
