Hi all,
I just installed the oleg Firmware pre4 and everything works so far.
But i do have a problem using this "Bandwidth Management".
It just wont work with my setting.
I do have a FTP Server, which is connected with Ethernet to the Router.
So i do settings at the "NAT Settings" --> Virtual Server.
There i define 20:21 to the IP, where i have the IP Server.
So far so good. I can reach now to my FTP Server.
Now i want to limit the "Upload of this FTP Server" to something like 60 kb/s for example.
I do my eddings in "Bandwidth Management" in the Area of "Upload Policy List".
So i edit Port 20 and the Max Speed.
Reload, but it doesnt work.
I also added Port 21 to the List but it wont work either.

Dows someone hav a tip for me ? Im trying this now for 2 days i cant find a solution for it.
It even doesnt work with the original ASUS Firmware so maybe i am doing something wrong ?!?

Greetings,
VampB

Im very sorry,
I forgot, that im using the english area here.
So, and now in english :)

I already did some changes and it does work now "a little" bit.
I had to enable on the ftp server site the FTP-Data 20 Port (first it was always using Port Numbers after 1023).
And i had to make the Ports fix for using the FTP Server in Passive Mode. So i configured passive ports fix and added them into the Bandwidth Manament too.

Now:
If i am doing a ftp connection from "inside" (same subnet), then it works. So my speed throttles down.
BUT, if someone is doing a ftp session from outside (so through the WAN Port), than the Bandwidth Management doesnt work :( :(
Is this maybe a bug ? Or even a feature ? ;)

Please help, because i cant find any solution for it. It sounds tat easy and i think, that i did everything right.
Thanks a lot and sorry again for my german text :)
