I'd like to know how to
turn the WiFi radio on/off by console command,
because I need to do that from a script.

Thank you,
but I also notice the "wl radio off" command
will turn the radio off.
The status will report

"Radio is off (WL_RADIO_SW_DISABLE 1 WL_RADIO_HW_DISABLE 0)"

I am interested in the difference between "software disable" and "hardware disable", and how to achieve
"hardware disable"?
The "wl down" doesn't make WL_RADIO_HW_DISABLE become 1.
