formatting External HDD to EXT2

Hello,

When I formatted my external HDD to EXT2 (it was NTFS) it is not detected anymore by my ASUS WL500G Deluxe. I have rebooted the router 3 times, but is doesn't help. So what do I have to do now. By the Way, I formatted the HDD using Norton Partition Magic 8.05 on a Windows computer.

U can format it from the routers console, using the "fdisk" command. Only thing is, I'm not sure if "fdisk" is included in Olegs FW by default. If not u might need to install the fdisk ipkg.

I'm not sure plain ext2 is supported, i remember i had some problems with that.
to format to ext3: mke2fs -j /dev/scsi...

Someone said that only EXT3 is supported. So I formatted it again and now everything is working.
