Hello,

Now samba is working, but how can I create users and passwords so they all have there own directory?
This is my config:

[global]
workgroup = thuis
guest account = nobody
security = share
browseable = yes
guest ok = yes
guest only = no
log level = 1
max log size = 100
encrypt passwords = yes
dns proxy = no

[user1]
path=/tmp/harddisk
writeable = yes
browseable = yes
force user = admin

Just create a directory under /tmp/harddisk for each user. In your samba config change the path to the directory you have just created and add a new section for each users. At the bottom of each section you'll need "Valid Users = username" to give just that user access. You then need to add the user into the password list by editing /etc/passwd and into the smbpasswd list by using smbpasswd.

There is a nice walkthrough at http://www.sprayfly.com/wiki/Samba_Guides

Sprayfly is always the first place I look for a configuration walkthrough.
