Hi Guys,

I just bought a WL-500g to bridge my xbox and tivo to my wireless network, only to discover that my current wireless router (Netgear WGT624v3) does not support WDS .... D'oh!

Is it possible to bridge a WL-500g to a non-WDS enabled router, such as the WGT624?

If so, what settings would I require the WL-500g to be set to? If you could provide the settings for the other router that'd be great too ...

If it isn't possible with the standard firmware, is there a version of hacked firmware that would allow it to connect?

Thanks in advance!

-Rich.

I don't think you need WDS for this to work. Just configure your ASUS to operate in client mode (connected to your netgear main router), and you can plug you xbox/tivo to ASUS.
