Hi,
I am on the verge of buying a wl-500g, but before i do it i would like to know if it's capable of all i think it is..
First, I have an SMC 7904 Router-ADSL modem, is it possible to set things up so the SMC functions only like a modem and the Asus does all the routing?
How can this be done?
Is there, in the factory SW or any other, are there any functions to control bandwidth by IP, or something like that? that gives me full control of every IP in the network?
What's the difference between WL-500G and WL-500G DELUXE?
Is the RF power really increasable to 84mW? that's how much i've got in my Lynksys WAP54G and it would do the trick nicely...
WDS will only work with other ASUS devices? Is there any chance it will work with Linksys WAP54G? I don't think so but it's worth asking...
Overall, what i would like is some feedback from owners, to know what i can do in terms of knowing and controlling what's going on inside the network...
Are the USB ports all that useful?
