My daughter bought a WL500G deluxe a couple of months ago (I have a 500G deluxe now and 300G ap - very nice).
She has configured the router several times, but it resets itself to default values after some days or 1-2 weeks. She always restarts the router after configuring, but after some time the router has default values again.
This is very annoying of course.
I have asked her about the firmware version (I thought an upgrade might solve the problem) and it is 1.9.5.4. As I can understand from other posts here this is probably the new version of 500G deluxe? (I had never heard of this firmware version before, and it is not on ASUS website).
Well, my question is: Could this reset problem be solved with an upgrade/downgrade of firmware version, or should I advise her to send the router back to the online shop?
