Hi,
i've got a small problem which i'm unable to solve.
My mom uses an old computer with an pentium 1 cpu and windows 98SE. This computer connects to the internet with a sitecom wl-115 wlan pci-card. This works fine.
Today i replaced that computer with a computer which has an overclocked Pentium 3 cpu in it and windows XP prof + SP2 (fresh install). To connect this computer to the internet i placed the wlan card inside that came from that old Pentium 1 i mentioned above.
The "new" computer is now on the exact same spot where the old P1 used to be, but the thing is.... the P3 doesn't find any networks.
For what i can tell, the wlan card works fine, i even put it back in the P1 to make sure it wasn't broken --> in the P1 everything works fine (again) but back in the P3... still no network found.
At first i thought this was because i turned SSID off in my router. But i turned it back on a few weeks ago.
I also tried putting in the ip-settings manually, but still no network connection or what so ever. I can't even reach the router from that computer, not even with the PING command.
And i tried placing the card in another pci-slot, no effect. But i did notice somthing, don't know if it means anything. In the P3 the 2 LED's on de wlan card stayed of. Only a short blink after turning on the computer. In the P1 the LED's are on and blinking.
At last i called Sitecom. They Recommended me to change channels in the router (didn't help) and place the wlancard in another pci-slot which also didn't help.
Now i'm hoping that someone here has the answer to this problem.
greetings,

ps. the wl500g deluxe has oleg's 1.9.2.7-6b firmware
