Specs?

Can't find any actual specs for the WL-HDD in this Forum.
I seem to remember there were specs posted here back when the WL-HDD was released, but maybe I dreamt it?

Anyway, so here come the questions that interest me:
- amount of RAM
- performance of the CPU
- ... I think the rest is answered by the official specs on ASUS's website

I am also interested in this BRCM4702 for which I cannot find CPU clock frequency. OpenWRT hardware table states BRCM4702@200MHz, but I doubt it. I think that this ptocessor runs @125MHz. Can someone clarifies this?

It's not a very scientific method, but almost all Google search results for "BRCM4702" say 150MHz :)

Anyway, typing cat /proc/cpuinfo command (or dmesg
) in the Backdoor page (http://...YourIP.../Main_AdmStatus_Content.asp), you have the speed of the CPU in 'BogoMips'

And according to the CPU model display by this command, we can found the following information :


Asus WL-500g
CPU: BCM4710 at 125 MHz
RAM: 16 MB
Flash: 4 MB
2 Broadcom BCM47xx 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Controller
1 Broadcom BCM43XX 802.11 Wireless Controller
