Hello,
I am using WL500gx and an external Harddisk. All functions(FTP and Samba) are working well. I want to use the the external Harddisk be a music library for two computer sharing.
But when I put all the musics into the external Harddisk and add this folder to itunes library though Samba. I find that it is not working stable. Sometime I Play the song with shuffle order, the iTunes can not load the playlist. Furthermore when I play the songs for a few hours, the itunes said there is a error occur. Then the programe was down. I need to restart the router and mount the Harddisk again. The last, it is the main problem, I can not update the songs into my ipod though this setting. The programme hang all the time when I update the song into my ipod.
I have search the forum, some users said that using ipkp and mt-daapd can use for music sharing though iTunes. Can ipkp and mt-daapd solve my problem? Also, can anyone post a detail spcrit to setup the ipkp and mt-daapd?
