Hi

Wikipedia: WMM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WMM)
It´s an extention to wlans to bring some quallity of service for multimedia devices like prerequesting bandwith to prevent underruns of media streams. As i see, it´s not directly user oriented, more related to the backward infrastructure.
It´s new, so you should not expect too much but high prices :D.
For automatic connection of multimedia devices there is allready upnp and such, but interoperability is a mess.

Um, if you have WMM enabled devices, itīs not useless. Maybe with questionary implementation, but not useless ;).

is it better just to turn it off on the router ?
Huh, on WL500 ??
Which Firmware you have, i never saw such an option :o.
