Hi all,

My new Toshiba Satellite L20 laptop is equipped with a Atheros Wireless Network adapter (I assume it sits on the motherboard). During startup of te laptop the Atheros is busy for a moment to acquire the IP addess from my WL-500g, but fails. http://wl500g.info/images/smilies/mad.gif
It reports a fancy IP address, but nowhere in the 192.168.1.x range. TCP/IP settings are all on Automatic. It still connects to my wireless network (SSID) with excellent connection, but is not excepting an IP address. Other laptops -with the ASUS PCMCIA card- on the network are working fine.
Finally, I've configured the Toshiba to use also a spare ASUS PCMCIA card and this works fine.
I expect the build-in Atheros Wireless Network Adapter should work with the WL500g, or have I missed something? (btw. firmware of the WL-500g is 1.9.5.0).

Disable ExtremeG. (Use standard 54G) on your card.
if it fails also, try to use a fixed ip...
