I have searched through the forums but did not find an exact answer to the question I have below.
Does anyone know if Dynamic port forwarding is a feature available in Dropbear 0.47?
Goal is to surf the web free at work using Dynamic port forwarding.
Setup: ASUS wl-500gx with Olegs's latest firmware (Thank you Oleg)
Client machine: Windows XP SP2.
SSH client:Putty 0.58
Browser: Firefox 1.0.7
I have verified I am able to local port forward to a proxy server without any problems. However if I attempt to use the dynamic port forwarding I am getting blank pages in the web browser. No dns or page not found errors, just blank.
I beleive I have the configuration correct in firefox as I have the proxy set as 127.0.0.1:8080 for all protocols which is the port that the dynamic port forwarding is listening on.
Am I doing something wrong?
If there a proxy ipkg?
I have one problem regarding ipkg. Do I need a USB stick to install any ipkgs? I get a read only error when running ipkg update.
Thank you everyone in advance,
