Is there posible to use the internal flash only to boot the WL500g machine and to put the entire distribution on the USB hard drive?, I think that would be great, .... or... :o
Ok, i see there is nobody atracted in my post, so, here is the problem:
I have an 120GB hard drive connected via USB to my WL500G. The disk has 4 partitions (1 ext3, 1 swp, 2xFAT32), for 2 users. Is there any chance for me to configure the FTPD server (and samba also) for each user. I mean, when I connect, after the autentification, to be redirected only on my directory, and not to be allowded in others. Is that possible? And another problem would be the lack of fstab :(... how can I create it? I tried to make the file and after that use flashfs save/commit/enable commands, but after reboot the file dissapears :confused: .... That's why I wanted to have the boot part on the flash and the main distrib on the hard drive... :D ... Can anyone help me in this case... :o :( :confused:
