GRE traffic and TUN interfaces

Could Oleg please enable this line in kernel config:

CONFIG_NET_IPGRE=y

This would make GRE tunnels work properly by making interfaces tunX which is a must have for VPN in the company I work for.

Pure GRE tunnels are VERY insecure. Are you sure, that you need GRE, not PPTP?

Yes, I'm sure. Our company uses GRE tunnels which works great with Linux routers. Now I'm "stuck" on new location with Asus router and I can't use company's network :-(
