Hi everyone,
I followed the instructions fiven in http://wl500g.dyndns.org/ to have my root fs on an usb key.
First I tried with a 64MB key and everything goes okay, but after that i bought a 1GB usb key because i needed more space (i want to host samba3 with ldap), i did the same thing and when i reboot after changing the boot_dev, the routeur does anything else than rebooting and rebooting (the ethernet "cable disconnected""s icon on windows xp shows up periodically).
Anyone can help me ?
I use Oleg's WL500gx-1.9.2.7-6b.trx and my router is a WL500G Deluxe. Do you think I'll have more chance in using other firmware like OpenWRT ?
