share$ als Laufwerk Z: verbunden

Problem:
Schreiben von Dateien auf Laufwerk z: ist nicht möglich.
Festplatten LED blinkt für einige sekuFnden unregelmäßig, danach
kommt eine Windows Fehlermeldung. Fehler tritt zu 90% auf, vor allem
bei größeren Dateien > 100MB.

Was geht:
FTP geht problemlos
USB an Notebook get problemlos

Wo liegt der Fehler?

Im Thread "SAMBA: SET FILE INFO takes ages" unter WL-500 Q&A findest du Informationen zu dieser Thematik.

Kurz zusammen gefaßt zwei Möglichkeiten:

1) Verwende zum kopieren nicht den Windows Explorer, sondern verwende einen andern File-Manager

2) Ändere die Harddisk von Fat32 auf ext3 (Linux Filesystem)

Das ist doch zum kotz..

Dann müsste das Problem doch auf allen Samba Servern auftreten,
welche fat32 Dateisysteme benutzen oder?
Ist mit unter SUSE LINUX + SAMBA noch gar nicht aufgefallen...

Gibt es denn eine Möglichkeit FAT32 in EXT3 ohne Datenverlust zu konvertieren?

hatte das gleiche problem was bei mir geholfen hat war der "chown" befehl einfach in der shell ( telnet oder ssh )

chown -R $username:$group /$pfadangabe/$zum/$share
