new projects: covox

I "found" and old covox device (paralell port DAC) that I used on a pc a long time ago, and decided to try it on the router..
I simply uploaded a raw audio file to the a usb pen and the did a "cat" to the printer device.. but I didn't get any sound... :confused:

Has anyone tryed this?

if it works, then we could end up with a cheesy "bathroom audio quality" web radio... :)

My first sound card was a own made DAC and i was very proud about the "quality" of the sound.

Never tried it on my WL500g but i should work.
