it looks like the asus-guys produced a new fw version 1.2.3.9

1. update stupid-ftpd
2. remove Ad Hoc mode support
3. DHCP client pool sync with LAN IP settings
4. WPA-PSK/Firmware upgrade are ok
5. Shutdown page is ok

anybody any experiences with new firmware?

I try to upgrade and savely restore factory settings ... but now I'm not able to "disable radio" ... setting is saved but has no effect :-(

Does anybody know when the sourcecode of asus firmware will be released? Maybe a patch of source code (diff file) ... from last official GPL source code release?

I want to recompile for changing the default settings pemanent.

Its a wish. Or may be someone has already created a Custom firware. If a Linux expert in the forum has done this, could you pls share ...

Actually I am looking for functionalities of 1.2.3.9 (Specifically the "become AP when AP not available" feature in the stock firmware) with Ipkg system capabilities to run media server or capabilities to enable audio/video streaming on the wl-hdd. Any pointers in this direction much appreciated

I also like to have a custom firmware ... I need to modify the factory (default) setting for my custom firmware, but there is no source code available :-(

Only older version of source and no diff to upgrade source code to 1.2.3.9 ...

Asking ASUS support for GPL source code ... no reply :-(
