I'm new to this area, are these the official Asus forums?

I've got a WL-500g, and I've seen that only a few webcams seem to work with it. Is this likely to change?

Has anyone got a list of supported webcams (other than the dedicated forum). The list in the manual is very old, not many of them are available (in the UK).

I found a couple of sites (see below) which have some useful info on chipsets, but again the list is not complete.

you are not even mentioning which webcam you have, or which version firmware you are using

and NO officially this forum has no association with Asus.

Thanks, I had read the FAQ.

I've tried a Logitech QuickCam Express (also a similar Dexxa model) and a Genius VideoCAM Express V2. I think these are all listed as "not working" in the RCH Webcam forum.

The only model I can buy in the UK is the Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000, but they are very expensive. I wondered about a MEDION MD9388 or Lifetek LT9388, but I can't find anyone who sells them.

Im using latest official FW, 1.7.5.6
