Need some help:

Moving a file to the shared partition 1 on the WL-HDD works ok
Deleting that file works ok
When I move the same file to the shared partition again the file becomes locked. Trying to acces the file gives "Acces denied"..

Happens using WXP and W2000.

Any thoughts?

WL-HDD with default programming, using fw 1234

Seems to be a problem in the original FW - I´ve had these Problems with Word and Excel-Files.
Try Olegs FW - the problem shall be gone.....

Problem found...reformatting hd using FAT resolves problem.
Ext3 file system should work, but for some reason W2k and WXP don't work properly without FAT.

how you format to FAT without using extenal notebook?
any shell command?

No, I mounted the drive in a laptop, and used formatter from there.
