Use WL-HDD as normal USB Drive in Windows

My WL-HDD is on the way and my 100GB harddrive is waiting for it. I'm planning in useing the latest OLEG firmware(1.9.2.7-6b). And I'm wondering since the WL-HDD has a USB port, can you use it as a USB Drive now and then?

The greatest thing would be is you could power the WL-HDD through the USB..?

Also, I have a Canon i470D Printer. Can I use my WL-HDD as a printer server with it?

... because of USB port is only a hostport it will be ossible to connect any slave device ... a software neccesary on WLHDD :-)

:-( connecting a WLHDD to a PC as massstorage is impossible because the USB port on WLHDD hab to be a slave port ...

setting up printer is discribe at different place many times ... see oleg asus wl-page or search the wl500g.info forum for details
