hi ppl
this is for those running their WL-500G's in bridge mode. I wanted my AP's (one as AP, other as AP Bridge) to synchronise with the NTP servers, yet there was no option when running in AP mode using the official FW. If you wish them to sync with time.nist.gov then do the following:
open http://IP_OF_YOUR_WL500GX/Main_AdmStatus_Content.asp
Type in and press REFRESH (when using IE):
nvram set ntp_server0=192.43.244.18
nvram set ntp_server1=192.43.244.18
nvram set ntp_servers=192.43.244.18
nvram set ntp_server=192.43.244.18
nvram set time_zone_x=GMT1
nvram commit
reboot
That's it, after rebooting your AP should sync with the time server and have the correct time.
