I tried the settings raw port 9101. Do i need to change the firmware of the router?

I installed the firmware 1.9.2.7-3c (oleg) without problems :) and the printer works. Only status communication is not possible. It is a shame that Ausus does not solve this kind of problems.

yes, got the same problem with brother dcp110c, i can't get the scanner or the memory card reader to work, only printing. think i have to buy a usb switch, so i can use the scanner when i need to.
the signal strength is really bad too, bought an external antenna, and that didn't help much, a room, 4m away from the router there is no signal. a neighbour got a linksys wgrt54 and his signal is in every rooms in my apartment. i didn't know asus had so bad signal strength.
if this don't work, i'm thinking of selling my asus and buy a linksys.
