I found small net in my village, because no internet connection is posible...

On my house is AP ASUS (wl 500g-firmware from OLEG v. 1.9.2.7-6b, operation mode is HOME GATEWAY)

in mode ethernet bridge

Users gets ip from AP (dhcp for mac adress)

Question:

is this structure good for our local network? I try download big file from KL1 to KL3 and max speed is 400 kB/s (2400 KB/s)

Is the way how to set AP and AP-klients for bigger speed?

If i understand you right, you have connected four 500g to the lan ports of one other 500g and you want to send data from the wan ports of these devices over the top 500g to other clients on the "slave" 500g´s ??

If you use only wired clients, you should better buy some normal ethernet switches for the slave devices. The 500g´s habe a limit on transfer rate over the wan-lan path produced by speed limitations of the cpu, so the datarate you get is quite good for this setup. transfers from lan to lan port are not affected, so if you use switches on the wlx devices you shoud get maximum speed.

Simply, 500g is designed as a dsl or similar router and is not prepared to bring 100% data transfers from the lan ports to wan since who has a 100mbit callin internet provider ? :).
