Hello.

I have a home network with a WL-500g router, a desktop connected using a wire and a wireless notebook. Until now, I was using a ADSL modem connected to the router in order to have internet access but now I want to use a access from a wireless community but I don't know how to set up the router so that it connects to that community. I can connect using only the notebook without the WL-500g.

Can someone help on this?

You will need to configure the router into 'client mode'. Please read your manual on howto accomplish that.

I've searched here and in the manual but I can't make it!

Can someone explain how to do it as if I was a complete idiot (maybe I am but :D ).

OK.

Finally I've managed to put the router in client mode and now it's working as access point. When I telnet the router, I can ping www.google.com without problems but in the PC that connects to the router I can't get to the WAN!

The community network gives to the router a connection with IP 10.0.0.102, gateway 10.0.0.254 and DNS 192.168.3.5. The router as IP 192.168.1.1 and the client machine has IP 192.168.1.10, gateway 10.0.0.254 and DNS 192.168.3.5 but no comunication is made to the WAN.

Any sugestion?
