how can i set gateway for lan to 192.x.x.1
dns1 x.x.x.x
dns2 y.y.y.y

If so .. ...

Try using the DHCP setup you can specific the default GW and DNS to be passed to a client.......That is assuming you are runniing dhcp on the clients if not then your looking at a manual entry :-)

I dont want to suggest anything else as I dont know exactly what version your running or how your network is setup or what mode your running the router in. But the above is the typical way to go for clients.

so in detail

i dont have wirwless connection, but i use connection via isdn

internet - isdn router - switche - asus - pc1
............./......|......\
..........pc2....pc3....pc4

pc1 to pc4 use:
gw 192.168.x.x
dns1 195.146.y.y
dns2 195.146.z.z

without this setting i can't update ipkg.......
i cannot connect to internet from asus, how set it correctly

So your isdn x port router connects to the internet.

a couple of questions

- What mode is the Asus router runing Home Gateway/Router/AP
- Do configure manually the IP & DNS or run DHCP ?
- Does the ISDNrouter do DHCP?
- Do pc2/3/4 get assigned the correct ip & dns to the internet and function fine? OR are they Manually configured?

- Is it just the Asus you need to configure? If so, then you need to go to the gui. ( Again assuming the ISDN router isnt running DHCP )

--- LAN & WAN
----- Wan Connection type : Set to static and enter the details manually there.
----- WAN DNS settings : set the DNS servers there

then

-- IP Config
--- DHCP Server
----- enter the dhcp settings you require for PC1 ( again asuming you want DHCP if not then the settings are manually entered )

form pc1 i can conect to the internet, but in asus cannot update the ipkg, all pc's works fine. which port I have got to use in asus wan or lan
