My Settings :

Mac OS 10.4.2
Printer : Epson EPL-5900L
Printer Setup :
- LPD/LPR protocol
- 192.168.1.1 (the default address of the router)
- Queue name = LPRServer (same as the one used in my PC)

Result : After spooling the LPR jobs to the print server, the printer just do nothing. No error message... I have tried to print from my PC connected to the router and it worked normally.

Pls help... I've already spend a whole night to deal with it.

Thanks a million times for any helping hand...

And firmware version is?
If you have original one, use Oleg's firmware and set port to RAW.

I have just upgraded the firmware to Firmware v1.9.4.0 BETA (Oleg's). Besides, I had also use RAW port to send the print job. The situation is still the same as before.

I wonder why it is okay in Windows but not in Mac OS X...

Thanks again for all helping hands...

Have you read: http://wl500g.info/showthread.php?t=981

Also use the search, because there've been other ppl with printing problems under Mac OS before. Maybe they were able to sort it out.

Thanks for your advice, Styno

I have followed the steps in your link but it still didn't work for me. It seems that I have two problems in using the print server. After searching through the forum, there are no solution for my first problem...

problem 1 : there are no CUPS or gimp-print drivers for my printer model

problem 2 : after setting up the printer in Mac OS X, nothing come out from the printer.

Apart from waiting for helping hands in this site, I am also trying to ask for help from Asus's forum and also in the Mac community... if I can solve them, I am eager to share my experience here.

Thanks again...
