Hi everyone. I've managed to install debian distro in wlhdd and it works well in chrooted environment, however there are some problems with kernel running off flash and using flashfs as its root I suppose (e.g. my program running in chrooted environ. refuses do dlopen .so objects, kernel modules can't be loaded/unloaded in chrooted environ and other nasty things). That is why I'd like to know if it's possible to boot entirely from the ide (including kernel).

I suppose that would require some sort of simple bootloader being flashed into the device, am I right?

But maybe I'm doing it just too complicated. Root on ide should probably suffice, the kernel wouldn't be much (if anyhow) different. :-)
