Hi

Just bought a new Wl-500g, and it is eleet=)

Got everything up running, with new firmware!

Now i'm trying to get my Brother DCP-110C multifunction printer to work.
It got scanner, copy, printer and multimediacard reader. Is it possible to get all this up running? So i can use scanner, and the card reader also? Is there a good howto on this, tried search, but couldn't see much really. I've also tried the printer setup wizard program on the cd, but that didn't help! So please someone=)

And the dignal isn't that good. I used a topcom router before, and placed the new asus just next to it. The signal on the topcom is 97% and on the asus is 75%, any tips to make the signal better!

Thanks for all the help guys, and Oleg for this greate forum=)

I can't belive that the signal is so bad. I tried with to different pcmia cards, one topcom and one 3com. i'm sitting in the same room as the router, and the signal is max 50%, and the signal strength is max 30%. with the old wlan router(topcom skyracer wbr 244) i had around 90% with both of the pcmia cards. Do I do something wrong or.

I got wl-500g(not deluxe) with firmware v. 1.9.2.7 and firmware release 1.9.2.7-6b.

I've tried change channel and radio power, nothing much happends!

HELP

Thanks, stian

Ok

I got the printer working great! The scanner i have no clue, looks like no one else has got it to work either! And the cardreader i've not got working. Any one else got a multifunction printer with cardreader and got it working??

Can i split the usb cable from the printer? one to the router and one to a pc?

The signal sux, if i go out from the room where i got the router, i get disconnected. so i think i have to by an external antenna.

I have multifunction printer without cardreader
printer: no problem (good work with JetDirect, Oleg! thx)
scanner: no idea
cardreader: technically possible, I mean (ask Oleg)
cable splitting: no!?, what about switch?
signal: try to place router vertically and get it to the high of the table or higher
