firmware upgrade failed

Hi
i have loaded a new firmware from the page.
but when i upload it to my router i always get these message


Firmware upgrade fail. It may result from incorrect image or error transmission. Please check the version of firmare and try again.

can anybody help me?

Question in Q&A please instead of Howto's and tutorials.

Please read firmware upgrading howto carefully and follow instructions carefully.

Further:
- Make sure you unpack the .zip file before upgrading (upgrade the .trx file)
- Check if the firmware is okay for your device. e.g. you can't load a firmware for the wl-500g into a wl-500.
- Do not use wireless for upgrading, but allways use a wired connection.
